The Spring Auction 2020
EndedAn auction of artworks direct from the artists of today
The Auction Collective’s annual Spring auction of contemporary art under £3,000.
As part of our commitment to put forward the latest voices in contemporary art, this auction also included seven artists who are changing their practices and creating artworks in response to climate change.
Green Perspectives (Lots 41 - 52) was a curated group of artworks made from vibrant plant-based pigments, artworks that capture the last days of the ice caps, and detailed representations that highlight daily waste.
The auction was a huge success with over 300 people tuning in to see our first live streamed auction. Collectors bid over the telephone and video feed from 13 different countries to battle it out against the absentee bidders.
Taking place during the COVID-19 pandemic, we owe a huge thanks to all the artists, partners and our network of collectors who trusted us and put in so much effort to make the auction possible. Thank you for your collective support.
