We are delighted to invite you to an exclusive fundraising auction, in partnership with Christie’s, to raise money for Art Academy London.
Art Academy London is a charity founded by artists in 2000 on the principle that art and art education has the power to be transformative: for individuals, communities and society.

What Rob and the team have done with the Art Academy is really to take something that in many ways has become tired and worn out and conventional...and created something that has huge potential for lifelong learning and is absolutely open and inclusive.
- Dr Frances Morris
At Christie's London, we will be hosting our fundraising auction on 16th May 2023, chaired by Dirk Boll, Deputy Chairman of 20th and 21st Century Art, Christie's and presented by Natasha Kaplinsky OBE.
Funds raised in the auction will allow us to continue to support 30% of our academic students with bursaries, provide free spaces on our young artists’ programmes and drive our outreach workshops that help make art accessible to the community in Southwark.

The Crush series are based on fictitious actions or events in which I-beams have appeared to have landed on bars of stainless steel. Intense colour and polishing gives the work an unreal quality, allowing it to sit in the space between finish and failure.
