Young Russian Artists: The Rite of Spring (17/65)

Notes

“This project was created during a period of self-isolation and was inspired by the book Alice in Wonderland. For the first weeks of lockdown I was obsessed with images from the story’s ever-changing space and endless doors that can’t be entered. I was trying to document a personal Wonderland, the space that – like after a sip of a magic potion – becomes either huge or incredibly small, depending on the attention we pay to it”. - Polina Shilkinite

Polina Shilkinite is a student at Moscow's HSE Art and Design School.
