To My Twenties

This etched copper plate recreates a childhood of the award-winning sculptor James Rogers. 

"There I am sat down on the right with my mom looking after me like one of William Blake’s angels, at first the lady tried to tell me I had to wear this device, I refused and then she brought in this guy, he was pointing at me and telling me I have to wear it or I won’t be as good as everyone else. He wore the white lab coat as a mask, telling me I needed one too and for an awfully long time he continued to look for a mask."
