Linda Linko (b. 1979) is an artist living and working in Helsinki. Renowned for her intuitive, poetic approach to her subject, she remains faithful to a serious kind of joyfulness of her own. Her works have been shown in various solo and collective exhibitions, and her open-minded interpretations exceeds the limits between various fields, such as visual art, pattern design, poster art and experimental typography. “I’m drawn towards the idea of challenging our habitual ways of perception, and simultaneously I wish to leave traces that resonate as something very humane. I don’t want to set borders to anything I do as an artist. For me, the most important thing is to keep my freedom.”
