Notes
This is work is from an ongoing series of procrastination club prints...... the clubs themselves never actually get off the ground forever remaining on the drawing board.
"Like a lot of fellow homo sapiens my tendency to procrastinate is chronic and this inspired The South London Procrastination Club which originally was just the title for a show but it seemed to strike a chord and it culminated in doing a Royal Academy of Procrastination print that was hung and sold out at last years RA Summer show."
Martin Grover is an enthusiastic screen printer and realist painter. His sources and inspirations are varied: childhood recollections, short stories, poems, old records, sheds, shelters and bus stops amongst others. The resulting artworks are beautifully realised with a mix of humorous, whimsical, haunting or melancholic contexts.
