London-based set designer Leonie Wharton and photographer Emma Ercolani work together to create and photograph mystical landscapes.

Summer is a photograph of one of their sets made from paper. It comes from a series depicting the essence of each of the four seasons. The yellow paper disks imitate flowers on a hillside, turning throughout the day to face the relentless sun. Strong shadows are cast by the light source which stands in for the midday sun.
