Notes

This work is one of John Taylor's 365 Seriesartworks - a project where he created a work of art every day for a year.

The '365 series' encouraged John to push his abstract art to its purest form. Painting pieces of card with various tones and hues of acrylic colour, John then begins 'drawing with scissors' to achieve a perfect balance in his collages.

Accolades

John Taylor trained at Central St Martin's College. He was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship by the British Council to live in the USA and lecture on the value of art as a multicultural tool in global education.
