Notes
After the swim takes as its subject the most traditional art form, the nude, and depicts it using contemporary tools. Peter Moolan Feroze makes digital drawings using an iPad.
When Peter trained as an artist in the 1980's, drawing from a life model was central to his education. He notes the teachers that encouraged him to make life drawing the basis of his work and later in his career he passed on his enthusiasm for this traditional way of learning through the educational outreach programmes he led.
Today the digital tool allows him to create drawings which are fluid, expressive and vivid.
Peter Moolan Feroze trained as an artist at Camberwell School of Art, the Slade School of Art, University College London and as a Post-Graduate at the Royal Academy.
