Mooie Scott lives and works in Scotland. The practice is broadly based from drawings, paintings, ceramics and including video. Many works evolve from surface texture, decay and the dismantling of drawings and paintings.

Working within and through the landscape, Mooie likes to place herself in the consuming elements of the out door world. The immediacy of these environments impels her to use raw, found materials. These could be anything from earth, peat, tar, rubbish and vegetation. The activity of drawing allows Mooie to record my submersion to a place.
