With reference to a particularly memorable photograph of Marseille, Hannah Forward perfectly captures a relaxing sea-side mood in this acrylic on board. 

Inspired by film and photography, Hannah prefers to apply her paint directly onto an unprimed wood board to reveal more of the relationship between medium and support - something she considers more personal, "like a treasured memory of a place once visited."
