Notes
Michael Craig-Martin was born in Dublin in 1941 and studied Fine Art at the Yale School of Art and Architecture.
As a tutor at Goldsmith's College from 1974 to 1988 and 1994 to 2000, he had a significant influence on two generations of young British artists.
He was awarded a CBE in 2000 and elected an RA in 2006. Craig-Martin has lived and worked in Britain since 1966.
