Terrence Higgins Trust - 2023, Timed Auction

London-based painter and printmaker Charles Hustwick addresses issues of the Climate Change Crisis in his work, in paintings, prints and installations sometimes in collaboration with other artists. His work has been shown with the London Group and at Tate Modern. His most recent exhibition was in 2022 in Blackheath, with a forthcoming exhibition in Suffolk in May. Hustwick’s archive of London’s experimental art scene in the 1970s has recently featured in an exhibition at England Gallery. His works feature in private collections in the UK and abroad. 

Caring is Resistance was extensively repainted this year, connecting identity and activism, following an inspiring visit to The Venice Biennale last summer.
