Supple Octopus - Rebecca Elves and Coral Brookes at The Tub

Supple Octopus presents a strange world of ceramics, paintings and drawings by Coral Brookes and Rebecca Elves, created together and apart. Through the tactile and pictorial, glimpses of painted figures are situated in spaces reminiscent of real and imagined landscapes. From fleshy formations of clay, mystical imagery to sensitive mark making, Supple Octopus reveals works which respond to psychological and physical encounters with places.

10% of proceeds will go to Bright Shadow, a dementia arts charity based in Kent. Bright Shadow’s mission is to enable people living with dementia, and those affected by it, to live well and to thrive. Established in 2009, they are experts in creative activities that are fun, meaningful, accessible and challenging. All that we do promotes wellbeing for people living with dementia. 

Bright Shadow is passionate about a brighter quality of care, which is invigorating, mood boosting and enhances relationships.
