Studio Sale | Lee Kay-Barry
23 FEBRUARY 2021 - 17 MARCH 2021Notes
“This piece was originally drawn around February 2019. It was during one of the first nights in my residency with AucArt and Mason & Fifth in Baker Street. The piece depicts my point of view. That night my brother Dean, and newly acquainted friend Harry, sat in my studio drinking beers all night, smoking cigarettes and hanging out. I painted from the colours I could remember of that night and used part of my imagination to piece together the painting.” - Lee Kay-Barry, 2021
