Nadia Attura, a Postgraduate in Photojournalism from The London College of Printing, was selected for The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2016 where all 75 editions of her work sold out.

Amalfi Orange is an image of the “end of season colours” on the Amalfi Coast, an area frequented by the artist and her family. In her iconic cross-media technique, Nadia has once again mixed paint with photography to create an archival and surreal image. Vacant deck chairs and parasols line the Italian beach in dialogue with the distant boats on the horizon. Are they looking longingly towards the boats and willing them in to be pampered? Or are they defending the shoreline against unwanted travellers?
