Rhythm Adjust
21 MAY 2021 - 11 JUNE 2021Notes
"The premise of ongoing The Link series is linking places that have personal significance for me with activity in the studio. During 2020/21 short and rare visits to the nearby coast in Norfolk, observing the rhythmic waves and breathing deeply, was a powerful encounter." - Marion Piper, 2021
Marion Piper makes drawings and paintings in groups on paper and canvas. Juggling geometric forms, rhythms across a grid and incorporating her interest in art history, literature, interiors and the city; the works act as a gathering place for her collected references.
Marion Piper (b 1963). Lives and works in Norfolk and Buckinghamshire.
