“I’m currently studying by BA at Camberwell College of arts. My paintings seek to allure the viewer in with a false sense of familiarity using sickly colours and patterns. Upon further inspection the dream world my paintings navigate reveal more grotesque imagery including obliterating bodies, hybrid creatures, and characters with exaggerated Punchinello features. The theatrical language attempts to unmask the fallacy of a fixed authentic identity; giving way to arenas of metamorphosis that explore the abjection of beauty and horror, and the corporeality of the human body.” - Ellie Home, 2020.
