Life on Venus II | The Human, Timed Auction

Jennifer Smith is an Irish visual artist based in The Netherlands. She paints the female nude in an abstract expressionist style. Her paintings focus on the female gaze and relooking at the female nude in art. Her work responding to a narrative influenced by social media, gender roles, representations of the female body, and perceptions of female beauty. Next year Jennifer will launch Clovermill, a free collaboration Residency with a focus on female artists and curators on the grounds of an old watermill.
