Life on Venus II | The Human, Timed Auction

Helen Stephenson is an artist living and working in Norwich. Her work explores the tension between the act of painting and the play of imagery, where her paintings present a magical mood and often a sense of bewilderment at the everyday. Her practice creates a world in which a capricious approach to subject is unproblematic and serves to continually initiate open-ended narratives. She holds a BA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts (2017) and is currently enrolled in Turps Banana’s correspondence course.
