Hyper-Colour-Pop-Culture
EndedA celebration of the bright, vibrant and relevant
The Auction Collective was proud to present Hyper-Colour-Pop-Culture - an auction that combined the bright and vibrant worlds of urban art, pop culture and geometric abstraction.
Exhibited from the 13-16 May, hard lines of colour and images of culture from 28 artists were brought together in the heart of London's Mayfair art district in a celebration of all things vibrant and iconic.
Thank you to everyone that joined for the opening night, the exhibition, the Sofar Sounds gig and the auction. And a very warm welcome to the new buyers.
Opening bids started from £90 to £10,000 and a staggering 86% of the buyers were new to The Auction Collective. The bids came from new collectors in the room, as well our international network of buyers bidding on the phones and in absentia. Many thanks to you all and to our sponsors Estrella Damm, Limonada Mathe, Queens Fine Art and Imp Graphics - we couldn't have done it without you.
It was a busy night and we look forward to seeing you back in the auction for the next.
