Help Ukraine: Without Reserve

“With great power comes abuse of power” is a play on Jenny Holzer’s 1983 “abuse of power comes as no surprise” and  a Spiderman line, “with great power comes great responsibility.” Seems like both quotes are being brought to life, horribly twisted. The sculpture is made of panelka wooden blocks, a style of panel buildings known so well to the Eastern Europeans.

Alyona is a Boston-born Russian-German artist who spent her life between Moscow and Berlin.
