Fundraising Auction Art Academy London - Timed
28 APRIL 2023 - 18 MAY 2023Notes
“I am interested in looking at various interpretations of what it means to be a woman and reconfiguring these in my own visual language to inject a sense of dis-ease and blurriness into these restrictive and uncomfortable boundaries that are inflicted on both men and women by cultural paradigms of gender. There is a natural inclination to pull out absurd and humorous reinterpretations of these images which happens as an intuitive part of the painting process.”
