The London based artist, Charlie Warde, is obsessed with the city in which he lives and spends his days painting, printing and drawing the urban landscape around him. The city has responded well to this interest and the Victoria and Albert Museum now have three of his works in its permanent collection.
Trellick Mountain #9 (14.00), is part of a series of 12 unique stencilled paintings of varying colours and lights of the iconic Trellick Tower in Kensal Town.
“I am completely London-centric. The mash up of cultures drives me and the diversity of London’s built environment. Its haphazard planning and broad range of architecture is the stage on which this is played out.”
