Launched in 2011 by Nick Cox, wife Pamela, son Tom and daughter Kate, HÁM is our family-run interior design and build practice, dedicated to creating meticulously well-considered, comfortable and high-quality interiors to complement busy family lives, just like ours.
Nick trained in upholstery, curtain-making and flooring and later delivered commercial design projects. He went on to run his own successful antiques and interiors business alongside wife Pamela, also an esteemed interior designer and antique expert. A passion for interiors runs in the family and son Tom, brings an in-depth knowledge of construction, as well as a keen interest in architecture and an endless curiosity for colour and art. Daughter Kate has a passion for seeking out exciting new designers and brands.
Our breadth of knowledge spans all aspects of design; from consulting on exterior architecture to interior architecture and design, spatial planning, landscaping, joinery and interior decoration. Working alongside our wider family of designers, project managers, expert craftsmen and trusted tradespeople – many of whom we have worked with for decades.
Unswayed by fleeting trends our style mixes old with new, layering playful colour and textures with a palette of beautiful natural materials. We don’t just design a house, we create eclectic and timeless interiors filled with art, antiques and intriguing objects always sourced with our intuitive sense of style and fun. The result is a home tailored to your individual lifestyle, delivered without compromise or stress.
HÁM projects have been featured in House & Garden, Homes & Gardens, Livingetc, The English Home, Country Life, The Times and The Telegraph.
