Artwork Description
This piece was created during an artist residency in Saint Tropez and belongs to the series 'No Place,' which consists of nearly abstract landscapes where various forms and materials connect and blend. I use elements such as branches, strokes, lines, etc., which can be indicators of paths to follow, but all merge, resulting in a hybrid that loses our references.
These works project the sensation of both decomposition and permanent reconstruction, of an organism contracting or expanding within an unrecognizable topography, placing us in an indefinite space and temporality. Far from depicting this situation as a trauma, it's portrayed as a journey, a landscape to explore.
