Artwork Description
This series of paintings presents a cluster of layers separated by the passage of time and the randomness inherent in each of them. However, this apparent chaos is structured through repeated actions, geometric shapes, and overlapping brushstrokes. I act as a vigilant regulator of situations, not aiming to uncover something specific but rather to capture a sense of uncertainty. Each element appears as an error detached from another place evoked from memory and its confusion. The plastic material, lines, shapes, and structures embody reminiscences of a familiar universe: black ink, stains, gradients from graphic discards, unforeseen elements, and leftovers from a family printing press and the craft of drawing.
