Notes
Rhona Taylor, born in London, 1975, lives and works in Edinburgh. She studied painting at Edinburgh College of Art, since when her work has developed to include sculpture, printmaking and large-scale, site-specific installations.
She uses colour and material in her work to play with the boundary between two and three dimensions, creating interventions in a space to explore themes of navigation and mapping.
She has exhibited nationally and internationally, and has undertaken residencies in Iceland, Scotland and the USA. Her work is held in public and private collections in the UK, the USA and Europe.
