Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork
The work is informed by the series of staged participatory events the artist organised, following the slavic agrarian calendar and the social making of the ritual objects-markers of changes in the environment. It represents the lark-shaped buns made to welcome the arrival of migratory birds and spring and to ensure good start of the new growth cycle.
