Art on a Postcard International Women’s Day Auction - Curated by Jo McLaughlin
27 FEBRUARY 2024 - 12 MARCH 2024Notes
About
Lisa Denyer graduated from Coventry University in 2009 with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art. Shortly after graduating she was awarded second prize in the Gilchrist Fisher Award 2010. In 2015 she won first prize in the PS Mirabel Open, and was nominated for the Kleinwort Hambros Prize in 2018. Her practice explores the polarities of a slow, considered painting process against the speed and sensory perceptions of daily life. The work relates to the body, the spaces we inhabit, and the visuals we encounter on a day-to-day basis.
