I am interested in capturing a moment of feeling or emotion experienced by the individual. Paintings are based on real people but are not always direct portraits & features and expressions may be exaggerated to capture a mood rather than a physical likeness.

Major society exhibitions including - Royal Society of Portrait Painters, New English Art Club,  The Royal West of England Academy, The Royal Society of British Artists, The Royal Institute of Oil Painters, The Royal Institute of Watercolour Artists, The Bath Society of Artists, The Royal Birmingham Society of Artists etc. Winner of the Davison Award For Painting at the RBA, RBSA prize GMC trust 2nd place award.
