About
Born in London of Italian/British parents, living between Venice and London. She starting painting in the late nineties, developing an exciting, vibrant and highly original style. Rosa has a worldwide following of private collectors and has participated in numerous major art exhibitions, including the Royal Academy. In 2004 she was elected a Member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours (RI). She has had several solo shows in fine art galleries throughout the UK including the sell-out exhibition of 120 paintings at the Mall Galleries, London. This exhibition coincided with the release of her first book 'Out of the Blue'. In 2021 the artists 2nd book 'A Journey Like No Other' was released.
In 2017 Rosa Sepple was elected as President of the RI, the first woman to hold this position since the Institute's inception in 1831.

Solo shows include, 'Out of the Blue', 'Reflections' , 'Dreamscapes'. Awards include The Frank Herring Award for best figurative painting. The Elizabeth Scott Moore Award, The Debra Manifold Award, The Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Award and The Andrew Hillier Award.

I was delighted to be included in 'Art on a Postcard for War Child UK 2023' auction. I do hope that my two watercolour paintings help towards raising awareness and money to help this wonderful charity.
