Art Makes Lives Better

Born in 1944, Lindsay Bartholomew studied at the Ruskin School of Drawing from 1961-4, winning a prize for portraiture in her last year. Following 12 years of teaching in London, she moved to Somerset where she developed her watercolour technique to capture the changing effects of the weather on the landscape.
