Notes

Jason Wason is one of Cornwall’s pre-eminent potters. His work exudes calmness, restraint, balance and poise.  Examples are held in private and national collections (eg the Victoria and Albert Museum, London) both at home and abroad, including in Japan where his work is particularly revered.  Characteristically some of his pieces carry small decorative studs.   However a grid of nine, as in this case, on a relatively small sized bowl, is unusual.
