Joanna Wason has worked at the Leach Pottery for 34 years and is its longest-serving studio potter.  She was workshop assistant to Janet Leach, Bernard’s widow, for the last 10 years of her life and recently published a biography of Janet. In her private studio at home in Rosudgeon, Cornwall, she produces small sculptures of immense charm featuring a wide range of subjects.  This cast is from a clay model.
