About

Incorporating drawings as my primary medium, I explore correlations in the roots, states and depths of the mind as well as the body. Inspired by the borders of memory-experience, and sublime sensations from everyday life, I expressed visual language through drawing, painting, collage and installation.

Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork

The artwork I have submitted is a work that attempts to combine the suppressed psychology of humans and the body trapped in a square screen. The image of a human being oppressed and trapped is often symbolised by the unstable state of mind of humans in my painting. Through this work, I wanted to share such an experience where anyone can recall the psychology trapped somewhere in their mind. For example, there is anxiety and trapped psychology that people may have experienced at least during the pandemic.

Please do not bid on artwork in our Art on a Postcard auctions if you intend on selling the artwork after you have purchased it. This auction has been organised for charity and all artworks have been generously donated by the artists to raise money for the Hepatitis C Trust. When the work produced for the charity is sold on the secondary market it damages our relationship with the artist and prevents us from fundraising.
