Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork
I am a London-based artist from Barcelona. My current practice inhabits the crossroads between psychology and digital technology. It explores the consequences of social media and mobile devices upon our cognition. I see my works as post-digital representations of the human mind, unfolding into a series narratives. These are stories that straddle the digital and the analogue to convey the hybrid reality that is our surroundings, while discussing my generation’s experience with ubiquitous devices and associated phenomena.
Please do not bid on artwork in our Art on a Postcard auctions if you intend on selling the artwork after you have purchased it. This auction has been organised for charity and all artworks have been generously donated by the artists to raise money for the Hepatitis C Trust. When the work produced for the charity is sold on the secondary market it damages our relationship with the artist and prevents us from fundraising.
