An extraordinary culinary adventure for two at Holmen Lofoten above Norway's Arctic Circle with a guest chef Tomos Parry, 24-28 March 2022.
Holmen Lofoten, on the shores of Norway’s wild and rugged Lofoten Islands, above the Arctic Circle, is a family run hotel set amongst a huddle of converted fisherman’s cabins. One cannot help but embrace all the forces of nature in this dramatic setting surrounded by sea and mountains with the wild and ever changing weather.
Holmen is home to ‘Kitchen On The Edge Of The World’, an event series created by chef Valentine Warner which brings together world renowned chefs, mixologists, artists and wildlife specialists for a truly magical, analogue experience.
In March 2022, twenty guests will join guest chef Tomos Parry and host Valentine Warner for a culinary adventure like no other. Activities include a sea fishing trip, ice-fishing, ceramics workshops, model-making with Aardman’s Jim Parkyn, world class cocktails from Nick Strangeway, cooking demos and mountain hiking - and of course each evening you will feast on the produce caught, picked and gathered by the group.
