This incredible lot includes:

  • A private ‘sundowner’ tour of Wiston Estate Vineyards, Sussex, with aperitifs and canapés amongst the vines hosted by winemaker Dermot Sugrue, followed by a specially prepared dinner in Wiston Estate’s new restaurant, Chalk, paired with a selection of Wiston Estate wines.

  • An extended tour of Gusbourne Estate, Kent, followed by a special tasting of Gusbourne wines led by Chief Winemaker Charlie Holland, featuring rare library vintages of their signature Blanc de Blancs, before a casual lunch around the tasting table.

  • The Balfour Wine and Dine Experience, hosted by Richard Balfour-Lynn at Hush Heath, Kent. Upon arrival at the winery, enjoy a glass of signature Balfour Brut Rosé on the upstairs terrace overlooking Nannette’s vineyard. A Balfour Ambassador will show you hidden areas of the Estate not accessible to the general public. You’ll then be provided with an in-depth insight into Balfour’s viticulture practices, woodland and wildflower conservation programme and the wonderful wildlife and nature that live on their 400-acre Estate, creating their own ecosystem with vast biodiversity.

After the tour you will visit the state-of-the-art Winery where you will be given a comprehensive overview of the winemaking and production techniques used for Balfour’s still and sparkling wines.

This will be followed by a very special tutored tasting and lunch in Balfour’s private tasting room which overlooks the estate, hosted by producer and founder, Richard Balfour-Lynn. You will be guided through a selection of their premium wines giving a truly unique insight into their winemaking skill and craftsmanship.

Lunch will comprise of a seasonal three-course lunch expertly prepared by Balfour’s resident chef. Each course will be paired with a glass of wine specially selected by Head Winemaker, Fergus Elias. Upon your departure, you will be presented with two bottles (per couple) of Balfour Wine to take home and enjoy.
