Notes

James Moore paints in a finely detailed, photorealist style.

Polygon Window depicts Caverne du Pont d'Arc - the visitor centre for Chauvet Cave in
France. Moore describes it as "a fibreglass mesa" which houses a life size simulacra of the Chauvet Cave. The replica contains exact copies of the 32,000 year old paintings that
can be found inside the real cave.

James Moore studied BA Fine Art at Manchester School of Art and MA Fine Art at Chelsea School of Art.  Currently based in Cardiff, recent exhibitions include Into a Light at the Saatchi
Gallery, Sea Fever at Hoxton Arches, BEEP Painting Prize in Swansea, The National
Eisteddfod in Cardiff, Twice as Nice at PS Mirabel in Manchester, and London Art Fair
2018.
