Hector Campbell is an Art Historian, Writer and Curator based in South London.
Recent curatorial projects include 'Pounding The Pavement' at Galeria Pelaires (Palma de Mallorca), solo exhibitions with Gianna T and Luisa Me at Oneroom Gallery (London), 'First Light' and 'Old Friends, New Friends' at Collective Ending HQ (London).
Hector has written for galleries such as Saatchi Yates (London), De Brock (Antwerp), Tick-Tack (Antwerp), Galeria Pelaires (Palma de Mallorca), Lungley Gallery (London), Roman Road (London), imlabor (Tokyo) & YBL Creative House (Budapest). Elliot Fox
Elliot Fox is a British artist who lives and works in London, he graduated with a BA in Fine Art Painting from Camberwell College of Art in 2014.
Fox’s recent work explores a fictional sequence of events based on certain socio-economical, geological and cultural elements that have made west Cornwall the place that it is. Fox's latest body of work presents a science-fictional depiction of the past, one that references the colloquial approach to archiving areas of Neolithic Heritage; west Cornwall’s unique geological makeup and its sprawling industrial scars.
The fictional story centres around Cornwall's unusually high levels of radon gas, and how this scientific anomaly acts as a catalyst for new and unusual behaviours. In Neolithic times this resulted in stone circles and the embryonic cultivation of rituals that have since developed into folklore, while in the Post-industrial era it led to the birth of surf culture, which can be seen as Cornish futurism in reality.
Hector previously curated Fox's solo exhibition 'Idol Hands' at Platform Southwark in London (2020).

"I am a practicing artist currently based in London having graduated from Camberwell college of arts in 2014. In recent years I have exhibited my work both in London and abroad and am a contributing member of Collective Ending HQ in Deptford - a collectively run studio/gallery complex where I have curated shows and currently hold a studio. My work currently deals with my own relationship with Cornwall, where I grew up, exploring how certain socio-economical, geological and cultural elements have made it the unique place that it is. Hamed Maiye
Hamed Maiye is an interdisciplinary artist based in London. He explores themes revolving around memory, magic, visual archiving & magical realism; using various materials which question language, painting & image making.
Maiye explores cultural anthropology through the use of mythology, Yoruba philosophy, historical documentation & archiving which influence the production of his work. Maiye's work presents viewers with allegorical scenarios used to invoke introspection, emotional reflections & forged/false memories.
Maiye's work was included in the group exhibition 'Old Friends, New Friends' at Collective Ending HQ, curated by Hector and Billy Fraser (2021).
Alia Hamaoui
Hamaoui's multidisciplinary practice weaves together layered fragments, haptic textures and lost/misremembered histories. The works often address the shift between physical remnants of the past to the now commonplace digitisation of memories, playing with processes centred on compression and image manipulation.
Hamaoui regularly explores the historical Western depictions of the SWANA in mass media, such as historic movements like Orientalism, to investigate how image distort a sense of place. She looks to ancient artefacts and heterotopic spaces that resonate with her dual heritage as Lebanese/British and personal memories, to further deepen our understanding of how cultural identity, objects and places relate to one another in our contemporary technologically induced state.
Hamaoui is a current studio member at Collective Ending HQ, and has featured in exhibitions such as 'HOUSE §1', curated by Hector, Charlie Mills and Georgia Stephenson.
Eleanor McLean
Eleanor McLean is a British multidisciplinary artist currently based in London. She is a 2022 MA Sculpture graduate from the Royal College of Art, having previously completed her BA in Fine Art at the University for the Creative Arts Farnham (2020).
McLean's practice operates within the realms of sculpture and installation, using found objects, writing and cathartic craft processes such as tufting and ceramics. It is often poetic, drawing on personal nostalgia and collective memories through British culture. The work references aspects of popular culture and investigates how objects, interiors and cultural references become romanticised, nostalgic and sentimental.
Minyoung Choi
Minyoung Choi is an artist who focuses primarily on oil painting and is currently living and working in London. She graduated from an MFA Painting Course at the Slade School of Fine Art in 2017, having previously completed her BFA (2007 – 2010) and MFA (2011 – 2013) in Painting at Seoul National University in Seoul, South Korea.
Choi creates uncanny surrealistic scenes populated by often oversized anthropomorphic animals, each imbued with an imaginative narrative that echoes her penchant for poetry and impeccable lighting.
Hector includes Choi's work in the group exhibitions 'Pounding The Pavement' at Galeria Pelaires (Palma de Mallorca, 2022) and 'Young London Painters' at The Arthill Gallery (London, 2018).
