Merging abstraction with realism, inside spaces with imagined dreamscapes, Lorna invites the viewer to enter a world that explores the life-infusing force of colour.
'Melon Door’ depicts a scene from the Vatican City in Rome, where the sunny view of the luscious garden, lemon skies and palm trees shines behind the grand doors within the building. The fruity melons have been added to create an element of playfulness amongst the grandeur.
