Merging abstraction with realism, inside spaces with imagined dreamscapes, Lorna invites the viewer to enter a world that explores the life-infusing force of colour.
‘Girl with Matcha Latte’ depicts a joyful memory of Lorna's friend enjoying a coffee under the blazing Cyprus sun, during a past art residency. The highly saturated, warm colour palette and rich textures have been used to create a sense of the intensity of the sun and light on this particular bright, happy day.
