Notes

“This is a tiny version of a painting included in the Bigger Pleasures auction. This tiny piece is made from home-made egg tempera – a very old painting tradition consisting of pigment (in this case Alizarin Crimson), mixed into an egg yolk and white vinegar solution.” - Catherine Repko, 2021

Catherine's work takes an intimate look at sisterhood, arising also contemplations surrounding identity, of being daughters, about motherhood, our humanity – at a time that feels so increasingly polarised both socially and politically, Catherine's work is looking at what unites and ties us together.
