NCA for Parkinson’s UK
04 OCTOBER 2022 - 20 OCTOBER 2022, Ended 09:10 PM (UK time)An auction of contemporary artworks curated by Cornwall-based gallery North Coast Asylum to raise funds for Parkinson's UK.
A charity timed auction of over 40 works from North Coast Asylum (NCA) roster of artists, with proceeds going directly towards supporting Parkinson's UK.
The auction features new and unique works from 19 artists including paintings, drawings, and ceramics. All featured artists have been extremely generous in keeping their reserves low and there are some simply stunning works as part of this collection.
Exhibition
The exhibition will be open to the public to view in the flesh at NCA's gallery, a wonderfully renovated gothic church hall, from October 5th - 20th.
The Gallery, Beachfield Avenue, Newquay, Cornwall, TR7 1FZ
Why Parkinson's?
Parkinson's is something that has impacted so many families. NCA's co-founder, Ben saw his grandfather suffer from the disease in the latter part of his life. Through the turmoil of illness and frustration at not being able to enjoy his previously loved passions, he found solace and huge enjoyment by taking to painting for the first time in his life. The money raised through the auction helps research and development into cures for this condition.
We are proud to be donating a portion of every lot sold to Parkinson's UK. In addition, there are lots where artists are making additional contributions to their partnered charities (e.g. Blood Cancer UK, Local Food Banks, etc.) Check each lot for details.
