Zanny Mellor is a British visual artist and designer working in abstract painting, photography, collage and installation. Her practices explores a sense of energy, impermanence and transformation by comparing timeframes within the body or landscape, in a minimal, gestural and graphic language.
In 2021 Zanny started The Breath Project, a creative community aimed at supporting artists affected by the global pandemic which launched with Rhythm Adjust, a non-profit exhibition she co-curated with Hannah Payne and hosted by The Auction Collective, which brought together 24 international contemporary artists and over 30 artworks to raise funds for Frontline 19
Other recent projects include a group show Render Permanent at Lewisham Arthouse, and Abstract Reality at The Saatchi Gallery.
Mellor completed a Masters in Fine Art at City & Guilds of London Art School in 2015 with Distinction and her artwork is held in private collections in the UK, Europe, South Africa, UAE and Australia.
