In tandem with the 2024 IWD Art on a Postcard auction, Lee is curating an all-woman group show at Norwich Cathedral’s Crypt Gallery themed around Queen Boudicca, leader of the Iceni Tribe and Norfolk-born Warrior Queen.

Lee set up her own Cultural PR and Arts Consultancy in 2016 and works with artists, galleries, advertising agencies, production companies and creatives on a global level. During a 25 year career in the arts and cultural industries Lee has worked with some incredible artists, photographers, creatives, musicians and organisations in the UK and internationally including; Alexander Newley, Alison Jackson, Bowman Sculpture, Bridget Riley, Colnaghi, Gavin Turk, Ioannis Lassithiotakis, Istanbul Biennial, Kay Gasei, Kristjana S Williams, LUAP, Massimiliano Pelletti, Misia-O’, Pet Shop Boys, Peter Blake, Polish Cultural Institute, PRETTYBIRD, Rob and Nick Carter, Sean Scully, The Blender Gallery in Athens, The Ministry of Azerbaijan at la Biennale di Venezia, The Prodigy’s Maxim, Varvara Roza Galleries, Winston Branch and Yoko Ono.

Over the years, Lee honed her expertise as she worked with a wide array of artists, advertising agencies, directors, galleries, and production companies, both as a curator and publicist. This diverse experience granted her a deep understanding of different cultural areas and a vast global network of artists and creatives. When it comes to writing, Sharrock has been prolific, penning thousands of press releases and writing for numerous publications such as Art Plugged, Artlyst, Art India, Art Doc Photography Magazine, Baku Magazine, Creative Review, FAD Magazine, F22, State, Soho House Magazine and Vernissage TV.

Establishing herself as a PR magnate, Sharrock has collaborated with well-known names and brands, seamlessly blending the worlds of art and advertising. Her roles have been multifaceted, encompassing writing, curating, and publicizing. In November 2023 Lee launched Culturalee, a curated arts content hub. Culturalee celebrates and highlights the rich, global tapestry of culture yet also marks another significant milestone in Sharrock’s outstanding career. This new venture demonstrates her ongoing commitment to the arts and her capacity to innovate in the cultural sphere.

Lee studied fine art at Norwich University of the Arts before moving to London for a History of Art & Italian BA at University College London (UCL), and spending a year at Bologna University studying history of Italian art and architecture and Neorealist cinema.
