Soumya Netrabile was born in Bangalore, India and emigrated to the U.S. with her parents when she was 7 years old. Working in both painting and ceramics, her recent work explores relationships between the body, terrain and elements inside the natural world.

The two works are small watercolors done on site in the Des Plaines River Trail forest preserve near my home.
