Statement about AOAP Submitted Artworks
A recent revived fascination with volcanos came from seeing the Fire of Love film this summer; their unexpected beauty, remoteness and power makes me feel a profound connection to nature. These four postcard paintings are immediate experimental pieces made with a limited palette of oils and directional brush marks, which have lead onto larger works in progress.
