Art on a Postcard International Women’s Day Auction - Curated by Louise Fitzjohn
23 FEBRUARY 2023 - 09 MARCH 2023Notes
About
With an award-winning career in fashion journalism and styling for international glossy magazines, I have since been painting for over fifteen years. My professional goals are for people to engage with my work, to open a conversation about a more egalitarian existence and how we harmonize our fractured world by raising the feminine energy, over-come the patriarchy, and join the masculine energy in respectful harmony. Ultimately, I'm happy when my paintings bring joy and or hope.

Statement about AOAP Submitted Artworks
With an interest in feminine archetypes within Jungian psychotherapy, my work delves into non-gendered feminine modes of being, exploring mother earth’s nature, breathing life into woman-centred folklores, mythologies and raising the goddesses; I am attempting to awaken the feminine within a land of wonder. My semi-autobiographical, socio-political, expanded practice has museological references and focusses on female-empowerment, reparation and protection.
